"In a while, your scent will fade from my clothes just as your memory will from my mind. The scars etched in my thoughts, like lasting fossils, were meant to remind me of our past. Yet, as we drifted apart, refraining from contact became a necessary agony. I dreamed of you often, each vision a subtle reminder of our disjointed harmony. That last public encounter, the pity in their eyes, my father's timely call—it all crystallized the truth of our brief, distorted semblance of love. I realized then, I never truly loved you; that was not what love is."

In "Boys and Other Headaches," I navigate the turbulent emotions of adolescence, marked by the complexities of Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, and depression. My days are a mixture of longing, self-reflection, and moments of vulnerability, punctuated by interactions with boys who both complicate and enrich my life. From the confusion of first loves and heartbreaks to the challenges of mental health, each experience shapes my understanding of myself and my relationships. Whether it's the regret of rushed intimacy, the yearning for a crush's affection, or the struggle to find solace in therapy, my journey is a testament to the trials of growing up and the pursuit of happiness amidst personal turmoil.
